Nature Laughs in Shades of Pink
Oct 26, 2020
Nature laughs in shades of pink;
Turns her petals inwards when meek.
Violet hues when out of breath.
Everlasting evergreen with the truth.
Rolling blues that clamor,
while spitting flames of amber.
Silvery winds that wrap around streets,
and continues on through fields of wheat.
Blackened tar that seeps.
Nature curls and turns to weep.
Shows its wrath with melting ice,
and folds its plates to remind us
what is ours is not ours to keep.
What stands above can sink.
What is ours is not ours to keep.
Nature is not fickle when soil remains golden-brown.
Nature still likes to laugh in shades of pink.
